- •Age >18 years,
- •ASA I-III,
- •Elective major abdominal surgery
排除标准
- •-Patients who refuse an informed consent for this research study
- •-History of diaphragmatic abnormality such as diaphragmatic eventration or paralysis
- •-History of phrenic nerve injury or palsy
- •-History of neuromuscular disease
- •-Cannot achieve correct diaphragm visualization
- •-BMI ≥ 35 kg/m2
- •-Aortic aneurysm surgery
- •-Preoperative intubation
- •-Being planned for postoperative intubation by surgical/anesthesia team
- •-Failure to extubate at the operating room
- •-Patients with systemic infection or sepsis
