简要总结
Lower extremity morphology plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal alignment, posture, and biomechanical efficiency during functional activities. Variations in anthropometric characteristics such as height, weight, body mass index, limb length, and segmental girths may influence lower limb morphological features including foot arch, knee alignment, and rearfoot orientation. Understanding the association between morphological characteristics of the lower extremity and anthropometric measures is essential for early identification of risk factors and preventive physiotherapy strategies. The purpose of the study is to investigate the correlation between morphological characteristics of the lower extremity [Foot arch index, navicular drop test, rare foot angle, Q angle, intermalleolar distance(IM), intercondylar distance(IC)] and anthropometric measures [Height, Weight, BMI, thigh length, leg length, foot length, calf circumference, Bimalleolar width, mid-thigh circumference, above knee circumference, ankle girth and forefoot girth] among college-going students using a correlational study design. By evaluating the correlation between these, we can design an effective treatment intervention.
