入选标准
- •Patients admitted in the Department of Medicine with a suspected bacterial infection receiving antibiotic therapy
排除标准
- •Hemodynamic instability persisting for more than 48 hours
- •Patients who continue to worsen after 72 hours of initial antibiotic therapy
- •Patients shifted to ICU/HDU
- •Presence of an abscess
- •Neutropenic patients/ or receiving steroids/ immunosuppressive agents/ PLHA/ hematological malignancy
- •Melioidosis, scrub typhus, Typhoid fever
- •Bacterial meningitis, septic arthritis, Infective endocarditis
- •Hospital acquired infection (fever starting 48 hours after hospitalisation) including CRBSI
- •Patients who are discharged within 5 days of hospitalisation
