This study titled “Effect of Deep Cervical Flexor Stretching and Extensor Strengthening on Functional Range of Motion and Proprioception in Mobile Phone Addicts” aims to evaluate the effectiveness of targeted neck exercises in addressing musculoskeletal issues caused by excessive smartphone use. With smartphone addiction increasingly linked to forward head posture, reduced cervical range of motion, and impaired proprioception, this research investigates the impact of a two-week intervention involving deep cervical flexor stretching and extensor muscle strengthening. Conducted among college students aged 18–25 with high smartphone usage (SAS-SV score > 35), the study follows a single-group pre-post experimental design. Outcome measures include joint position error (JPE), craniovertebral angle (CVA), and functional cervical ROM. The data will be analyzed using SPSS with paired t-tests to assess significant changes pre- and post-intervention. It is anticipated that this targeted therapeutic approach will improve cervical alignment, muscle balance, and proprioceptive feedback, offering an effective strategy to counteract posture-related dysfunctions associated with mobile phone addiction.

- •Person with medical condition or undergone surgery.
- •Participants with screen time less than 4 hours.
- •Treatment for recent cervical spine trauma.
