Comparative study of Prediction of difficult airway by an Application using Clinical and Ultrasound Parameters Versus Conventional Methods - A Randomized control trail

Preoperative Airway assessment- Assessment will be done by using airway application (clinical and ultrasound parameter) or Conventional Methods (clinical parameter) which will provide prediction of difficult airway and management option for the same .    The difficult airway is a complex interaction of patient anatomy, clinical circumstances, and clinician skills of physicians managing the airway. A difficult airway remains a significant factor contributing to mortality and morbitiy in anesthetized patients. Its consequences range from transient hemodynamic changes to hypoxic brain injury and cardiac arrest.

.Airway assessment is recommended to anticipate and prepare for a difficult airway before starting airway management.

Ultrasonography is a useful adjunct to conventional clinical airway assessment tools, as it can be used for visualizing the relevant anatomy and critical structure of the airway. It is a Novel, noninvasive tool.

Our primary objective of this study is to Compare the predictive ability of difficult laryngoscopy and intubation by an Airway Application with conventional assessment method.

The secondary objective is to determine the predictive ability of Airway application based airway assessment as predictors of difficult laryngoscopy and intubation using Cormack-lehane (CL), and intubation difficulty scale (IDS).
