- •1. PATIENTS UNDERGOING SURGERY REQUIRING ANAESTHESIA VIA SUPRAGLOTTIC AIRWAY DEVICE
- •2. ASA PHYSICAL STATUS 1&2
- •3. BMI <25
- •4. SHORT DURATION SURGERIES
- •FOR ANAESTHESIA TRAINEES:
- •1ST AND 2ND YEAR ANAESTHESIA TRAINEES OF KMC MANIPALWHO HAVE PERFORMED LESS THAN 10 igel INSERTIONS
排除标准
- •FOR PATIENTS:
- •1. OBESITY BMI >25
- •2. PATIENT WITH DIFFICULT AIRWAY
- •3. THORACIC, NEURO, CARDIO AND AIRWAY SURGERIES
- •4. PATIENTS WITH GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE
- •5. ABNORMAL HEAD, AIRWAY OR NECK ANATOMY
- •FOR ANAESTHESIA TRAINEES:
- •THOSE WHO EXPRESS LACK OF CONFIDENCE TO TRY INSERTING igel INDEPENDENTLY
