入排标准
入选标准
- •Patients with age group 18 or above 18 with chronic painful TMD with multiple or unknown causes involving either unilateral or bilateral TMJ for at least 3 months history of pain according to DC-TMD Criteria 2015 and not having pharmacological treatment for TMD and any form of analgesic for any pain for at least past 1 weeks.
排除标准
- •1) Systemic disease which could affect TMJ or cervical joints, e. g. rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthrosis, osteoporosis, diabetes,
- •2) Pain attributed to recent trauma
- •3) patients who have been treated with TENS previously without any improvement in the condition
- •4) people with contraindications to administration of TENS (e.g. people with pacemakers, and other electronic devices. neuro-physiological disorders (like epilepsy), pregnant women), Psychiatry disorders
