- •1. Primi gravid
- •2. Singleton pregnancy
- •3. In cephalic presentation
排除标准
- •1. Chronic medical illness (Renal disease, liver disease, connective tissue disorders, endocrine disorders)
- •2. Obstetric complications that can affect the labor process such as low lying placenta, deformed pelvis
- •3. Gross fetal anomaly detected at the routine ultrasound scan at 28 weeks
- •4. Fetal macrosomia detected at the routine ultrasound scan at confinement
- •5. Use of drugs such as calcium channel blockers, MgSO4, Beta agoniststhat can affect uterine contraction
- •6. Age more than 35 years
- •7. BMI more than 30 at confinement
- •8. Induction of labour
