入选标准
- •Individuals of both sexes with age > 12 years who are not taking treatment for acne vulgaris presenting to the Dermatology outpatient department of Pak Emirates Military Hospital, will be recruited as cases.
- •Controls: Age and gender matched individuals presenting to Dermatology outpatient department of Pak Emirates Military Hospital including
- •1.Attendants of patients
- •2.Hospital workers including paramedical staff, ward boys, janitors.
排除标准
- •1.Diabetes mellitus
- •3.Obesity (BMI greater than or equal to 30)
- •4.Individuals who are taking oral isotretinoin and those who have taken isotretnoin in previous 6 months
- •5.Alcohol consumption
- •6.Acne caused by use of steroids
- •7.Individuals taking antihyperlipidemic drugs
- •8.Individuals taking oral contraceptives
- •9.Pregnant women
- •10.Lactating women
- •1.Diabetes mellitus
- •3.Obesity (BMI greater than or equal to 30)
- •4.Individuals who are taking oral isotretinoin and those who have taken isotretnoin in previous 6 months
