简要总结
The goal of project P3 was the development, the verification of feasibility and acceptance, and the subsequent implementation of a computer and smartphone based intervention (CS-I) to reduce harmful alcohol and tobacco consumption in the general population. A total of 304 participants were recruited to participate in the study. They were randomly assigned either to CS-I, CS-I with additional e-coach (CS-Iec) or to the control group (TAU). Overall satisfaction with the program was high and adherence can be considered as good (more than half of the participants attended the follow-up at the end of the intervention period). In addition, a short-term superiority of CS-Iec was shown with regard to point-prevalence smoking abstinence and with regard to a reduction of smoking intensity of at least 50% compared to the other conditions. Thus, the program contributes to raise awareness to the topic of alcohol consumption and tobacco smoking and in some cases even contributed to the initiation of a short-term change in consumption behavior. The program is available free of charge to users at the end of the project and can be integrated into primary care.
