入选标准
- •Presence of at least 20 teeth in their mouth and at least two teeth with >5mm probing depth and clinical attachment loss; no history of initial periodontal therapy including scaling and root planing at least six weeks prior to the study.
排除标准
- •Women presenting risk factors to preterm/low-birth-weight: history of diseases including diabetes mellitus, genitourinary tract infections or HIV infection, previous multiple gestations, previous preterm birth/low-birth-weight infants, in vitro fertilization procedures, placental or cervical or uterine abnormalities, history of infertility, history of illegal drug use, history of human immunodefficiency virus type I or hemoglobin levels less than 8 mg/dl following delivery and medical conditions that required antibiotics prophylaxis.

Immunization during pregnancy is an efficient and safe approach to provide protection against infectious pathogens affecting the young infant. The objective is to identify the determinants of antibody-mediated immunity in infants born to mothers immunized during pregnancy.
