- •3 Wound has been freshly debrided
- •4 Patients eligibility of NPWT in the opinion of the treating physician
- •5 Wound produces high levels of exudates
- •6 Patient has been maximally medically stabilized eg nutrition blood pressure blood
- •glucose fluid balance infection etc

- •1 Pregnancy
- •2 Simultaneous participation of patients in another interventional study
- •3 Untreated osteitis or osteomyelitis
- •4 Not examined / unexplored fistula
- •5 Malignancy of the wound
- •6 Exposed nerves blood vessels anastomotic site
