•1.Patients of either sex with age limit 18 to 60 years 2.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist grade 1 and 2 3.Patients who give a valid informed consent.

排除标准

•1.Maxillofacial anomalies 2.Restricted neck movents 3.Body mass index more than 35kg/m2 4.Limited mouth opening 5.Obstetric patients.

主要结局

TO determine the role of skin to hyoid,skin to thyrohyoid membrane & tongue thickness using ultrasound & routine clinical parameters for patients under going elective surgical procedure under general anaesthesia

时间窗: 40 minutes

次要结局

TO determine difficult laryngoscopy by Cormack Lehane grading(30 minutes)
