- The incidence of any new onset recurrent or self reverting episode of sustained Ventricular Tachycardia VT ie lasting 30 seconds or requiring antiarrhythmic therapy cardioversion will be recorded.

The data collection project aims to identify high risk patient and improve standard of care at the hospital by instating preventive measures,This study also aims to asess the incidence of post operative ventricular arrythmias before discharge from the hospital.As the new onset Post operative ventricular arrythmia after cardiac surgey is uncommon and has prognostic value is the rationale/background for this study.
This Study will help us to identify predictors which will help in improving primary and secondary strategies and thus improving morbidity and mortality due to post operative ventricular arrythmias.

- •1.Patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedure (repeat angiography,insertion of an Intraaortic Balloon Pump,insertion of a defibrillator or Electrophtysiology studies) at Medanta the Medicity 2.Post operative Ventricular arrhythmia.
排除标准
- •Data for all the patients would be reviewed.
