入选标准
- •1. Patient aged more than or equal to 18 years, both the genders in the emergency and medical/surgical intensive care units.
- •2. Requiring artifical ventilation for more than 48 hours
- •3. Subject or legally authorized representative/patient relative willing to provide written informed consent.
排除标准
- •1.A regular ET tube without continuous aspiration of subglottic secretion port
- •2. A previous diagnosis of
- •a. Pulmonary tuberculosis
- •b. Bronchopneumonia
- •d. Ventricular fibrillation
- •e. Cardiac arrest
- •f. Bleeding disorders/ on oral anticoagulants
- •g. Pregnancy
- •h. Head/ neck/ facial injuries
- •3. Tracheostomy at the time of admission
- •4. Patients enrolled for another clinical study
