入选标准
- •ASA physical health status 1and 2
- •Surgery lasting for more than or equal to 1 hour but less than or equal to 4 hours
排除标准
- •Diabetes mellitus
- •Patients on hormonal or steroid therapy
- •Patients with endocrinological disorders
- •Patients with BMI <17kg/m² or >30kg/m²
- •Patients with history of gastroesophageal reflux disorders
- •Patients on medications which impair gastrointestinal motility
- •Laparoscopic surgeries
- •Parturients
- •Patients who cannot follow standard ASA fasting guidelines for any reason
