入选标准

  • 1. The patient was diagnosed as cervical spondylosis based on clinical and radiological evidence.
  • 2. Surgery for the first time was performed after at least 6 weeks conservative treatment, which was ineffective;
  • 3. The surgical methods were either artificial cervical disc replacement (ACDR) or anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF).

排除标准

  • 1. The cervical degeneration was serious, and the loss of intervertebral height was more than 80% of the adjacent normal segments.
  • 2. Sufficient disc samples could not be obtained during operation.
  • 3. Operative contraindications were found, such as poor cardiopulmonary function and intolerance to the surgery.
  • 4. The patient had a history of neck injury or related surgery.
  • 5. There was active hemorrhage or infection history of the patient.
  • 6. There was a history of fracture, tumor, tuberculosis and other tissue-invasive diseases in the cervical spine.
