入选标准

  • Adults aged 18 years or older
  • Currently voiceless due to tracheostomy, prolonged intubation or related airway management
  • Clinically stable and suitable for participation at the time of the study session
  • Able to tolerate a brief communication interaction
  • Able to demonstrate capacity to provide informed consent
  • Able to demonstrate reliable yes/no communication
  • Able to participate in a brief communication task using LipReader and standard communication tools

排除标准

  • Inability to demonstrate capacity to provide informed consent
  • Inconsistent or unreliable yes/no responses
  • Delirium or acute cognitive impairment
  • Clinical instability requiring urgent intervention
  • Severe visual impairment preventing use of the smartphone interface
  • Facial obstruction preventing adequate lip visibility
  • Distress, fatigue or discomfort making participation inappropriate
  • Any circumstance in which the treating team considers participation not to be in the patient’s best interests
