入选标准
- •Children aged one year-five years hospitalized with recurrent (two or more hospitalizations in one year15) lower respiratory tract infections in the Department of Paediatrics, KMC, Manipal.
排除标准
- •1)Child who has received Vitamin D supplementation in the preceding 3 months.
- •2) Children with known causes for recurrent respiratory tract infections such as:
- •b) Bronchiectasis
- •c) Primary immunodeficiencies
- •d) Cystic fibrosis
- •e) CHD with left to right shunts (ASD >5mm)
- •f) Foreign body aspiration
- •g) Bronchial asthma
- •h) Congenital anomalies of airway
- •3) Patients not willing to participate in the study
