  • Patients who have not
  • received periodontal therapy, within preceding 6 months.

排除标准

  • Pregnant and lactating females.
  • Patients allergic to shell fish.
  • Patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus.
  • Peptic ulcers.
  • Blood dycrasias.
  • Infected with HIV/AIDS.
  • Renal disorders.
  • Patients on similar medication.
  • Those on diuretics, steroid use, oral contraceptives or those addicted to tobacco.
