入选标准
- •Inclusion criteria
- •1.Treatment naïve patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral tongue
- •2.T1-T4 staged disease
- •3.Patients who will undergo definitive surgical management
- •4.Age greater than or equal to 18 years
排除标准
- •Exclusion criteria
- •1.Patients having any history of mental illness (depression, anxiety, etc) and currently taking medication for the same
- •2.Patients taking any form of week or strong opioid analgesics as per the WHO pain scale ladder, for a period greater than 1 week
- •3.Patients having a history of other diseases and conditions where taste sensation is disturbed such as Sjogrenâ??s syndrome, radiotherapy, etc.
- •4.Patients who have had COVID-19 previously
- •5.Patients who do not know how to read English, Hindi or Marathi
- •6.Patients with trismus and with ankyloglossia
