  • 1. All patients undergoing routine elective thoracic surgery especially open thoracotomy procedure with patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and epipleural insertion
  • 2. Provision of written informed consent
  • 3. Aged 18 years or over

排除标准

  • 1. Patients who are having epidural anaesthesia
  • 2. Patients undergoing emergency operation
  • 3. Refusal to take part in the study
