- •Group I (control group):
- •1.Age and sex matched healthy oral leukoplakia cases.
- •2.Normal appearing mucosa of patients who will be undergoing crown lengthening; periodontal surgery and 3rd molar impaction surgery.
- •Group II (study group):
- •1.Patients with low risk oral leukoplakia.
- •2.Patients with high- risk of oral leukoplakia

- •Group I (control group):
- •1.Patients not willing to participate.
- •Group II (study group):
- •1.Patients with other established carcinomas.
- •2.Clinico histopathologically diagnosed OPMDS other than leukoplakia.
- •3.Patients who are undergoing any local / systemic treatment of oral leukoplakia
- •4.Patients not willing to participate in the study.
