入排标准

入选标准

  • Subjects with one or more active trigger points in the upper trapezius muscle
  • Male and female subjects.
  • Subjects who have been using smart phones
  • Pain of at least 30 mm in the VAS scale.
  • Subjects with decreased lateral flexion of the neck to the opposite side of the active trigger point.
  • Subjects between the age group of 18 years to 35 years.
  • Patients with positive jump sign.
  • Subjects who are willing to participate in the study and willing to take treatment for five successive days.

排除标准

  • Subjects who have had smartphone related injuries in the past one year.
  • Subjects suffering from orthopedic, inflammatory, degenerative, neuromuscular condition of the neck and upper extremity.
  • History of orthopedic surgery to the neck or upper back.
  • Participants who are taking anticoagulants and who are on long term corticosteroid therapy
  • Participants with specific causes for neck pain.
  • Patients who are undergoing treatment of myofascial pain or trigger points at the time of the study
