入选标准
- •All adults >18 years of age admitted to medical wards with the diagnosis of dengue or scrub typhus infection confirmed by serological tests will be recruited in our study
排除标准
- •Patients with evidence of a primary focus of infection(eg:consolidation on chest x-ray, symptoms and signs of urinary tract infection, cellulitis) are excluded
- •Patients with concurrent culture proven bacterial infections
- •Presence of concomitant febrile illnesses along with dengue or scrub typhus infection such as malaria, leptospirosis, typhoid and influenza
