简要总结

The main objective of the study is to find the effects of comprehensive hand repetitive intensive strength training on range of motion and function in post fracture rehabilitation to answer the question such as Does CHRIST significantly improve range of motion (ROM) and functional outcomes in patients undergoing post fracture rehabilitation

详细描述

Fracture constitute the major type of injury which can affect all age group and also the race group including whole world. Fracture is cause physical limitations like pain, impaired mobility, and reduced muscle strength, as well as functional limitations in daily activities. Furthermore, fractures can lead to long-term complications such as arthritis, non-unions, and mal union, impacting the individual's overall well-being. Upper limb fracture refers to the break or crack in any of the bones of arm including the shoulder, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand. These fractures are a common type of injury, and can range in severity from minor cracks to severe breaks that require surgery. 10-45% of injuries in children involve broken bones. Approximately, eighty percent of all infantile fractures are accidental upper limb fractures. Ideally, the fundamental component of their treatment is early habitation, that seeks to bring back an entire range of movement as swiftly as feasible, with the implementation of exercises to strengthen as quickly as viable. While many extra-articular cracks in individuals in general tend to react favorably to non-operative treatment.

The study design will be quasi experimental study. The data will be collected from private hospital/ clinical settings. The study will be completed in 10 months after the approval of synopsis. 22 children with elbow fractures of age group between 6- 16 will be included. The intervention will be given 12 weeks with 4-5 sessions per week. The intervention, Comprehensive Hand Repetitive Strengthening Training, include the treadmill training for upper limb with body weight supporting the using upper limb. The posture of the arm swing was to maintain the joints of elbow and wrist as much as possible, and the shoulder joint was allowed to be flexed by 160 degrees. The speed of the treadmill for upper limb was 0.3-1.2 km/h.
