- •16 recreationally active young adults (ages 18-30; 8 male and 8 female).
- •Regularly engages in physical activity at least 3 times per week.

High-GI Snack Bar
Participants will consume a high-GI snack bar (Snickers Mars) 60 minutes before performing HIIT. Each condition will be separated by a washout period of 3 days to minimize carryover effects.
Low-GI Lentil-Based Snack Bar
Participants will consume a low-GI snack bar (SOYJOY) 60 minutes before performing HIIT. Each condition will be separated by a washout period of 3 days to minimize carryover effects.
No Food Consumption
Participants will perform HIIT without consuming any food prior to the session. Each condition will be separated by a washout period of 3 days to minimize carryover effects.
