入选标准
- •1.Age > 18 years old
- •2.Do-not-intubate status
- •3.Presented with respiratory distress meeting all of the following criteria
- •a.Pulse oximetry < 90% when breathing at room air
- •b.Dyspnea (modified Borg scale ≥ 4)
- •c.Signs of respiratory distress e.g. accessory muscle use
- •d.Respiratory rate ≥ 30 breaths/min
- •4.Competent status: Kelly score < 4
排除标准
- •1.Refusal of treatment
- •2.Agitation or non-cooperation
- •3.Adverse reactions or contraindication to opioids
- •4.Participants contraindicated for NHF such as excessive secretion, risk of aspiration
