入选标准
- •Children between the ages of completed 5 years and completed 18 years hospitalized with acute exacerbation of asthma
排除标准
- •1. Use of antibiotics during the 30 days prior to enrolment in study and documented fever (temp >38 degree celsius)
- •2. contraindication for use of azithromycin
- •3. Significant medical co-morbidity: Congenital and acquired heart disease, chronic lung disease, tuberculosis, cholestatic jaundice
- •4. Life threatening exacerbation requiring PICU admissions.
- •5. children already enrolled in the study and presenting within 60 days of discharge from hospital.
