Induction of general anesthesia results in redistribution of heat from th ecentral to peripheral parts of the body.This can cause intraoperative hypothermia. This study has been formulated to determine if perfusion index can be used as a parameter to predict this hypothermia.

入选标准

•ASA 1 or 2
•Age between 18-60 years
•BMI 20-25 kg/m2
•Laproscopic gastrointestinal surgeries.

排除标准

•Patients not giving consent for procedure
•Patients with peripheral vascular diseases
•Patients who underwent blood transfusions during surgery
•Emergency surgeries.

结局指标

主要结局

Core body temperature fall during conduct of general anesthesia.

时间窗: Baseline

次要结局

Shivering at the end of general anesthesia will be assessed at recovery room.(1 day)
