- •The patients seeking for dental implant treatment at the Special Clinic, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University during June 2011 to January 2012 would be asked to be a participant of the study. All patients understood the objectives of the study, protocols, their obligations to the study as well as the benefits & risks of participation. All informed consents were obtained.

- •Exclusion criteria were systemic diseases that could alter bone and soft-tissue healing, pregnancy, and participants < 18 years of age.
