简要总结
During the various phases of badminton shots (Preparation/Back swing/Forward swing/Point of contact/Follow through) the shoulder internal and rotators need to have good eccentric control/strength as maximum velocity is produced during back swing and forward swing (where maximum velocity is generated) and during follow through phase to slow down the fast moving arm along with the weight of the racquet
Also during the point of contact phase the wrist extensors suffer the greatest eccentric contraction, failure to which causes pain of the extensors among amateur badminton players.
Several studies have been done on developing effective strength training program for badminton players but very few have focused on developing eccentric strength.
