入选标准
- •The study will include all patients, aged more than 45 year, who
- •are postmenopausal or are using a reliable means of contraception
- •and undergo major elective abdominal aortic or infrainguinal arterial
- •reconstruction surgery or non-cardiac thoracic surgery under general
- •anesthesia at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai hospital.
排除标准
- •â€¢ Patients will be excluded if they meet any of the following criteria:
- •1. Already taking beta-blockers
- •2. Giving beta-blockers will be dangerous (e.g., known intolerance to
- •beta-blockers)
- •3. Receiving current treatment for asthma/COPD
- •4. Presence of bradycardia (heart rate < 60 bpm) or hypotension
- •(systolic blood pressure <100 mm Hg)
- •5. Plan to use a beta †blocker preoperatively or during the first 30
- •postoperative days for other reason
- •6. Concurrent use of verapamil, diltiazem or amiodarone
- •7. Urgent / emergency vascular surgery within 24 hr
- •8. Have had CABG with complete revascularization in 5 years & no
- •evidence of ischemia since surgery
- •9. Active cardiac condition
- •10. Not give informed consent
- •11. Pregnancy
