入选标准
- •1. All patients who will present in surgical outpatient department at Silchar Medical College and Hospital with complaints of pain during defecation, irritating nature of pain around perianal region with or without bleeding for a duration of more than 6weeks, diagnosed to be having chronic anal fissure based on history and clinical examinations.
- •2. All previously diagnosed cases of acute anal fissure who are taking stool softener and medications for more than 6weeks

- •Chronic anal fissure associated with
- •1. Anorectal absecss
- •2. Tuberculosis
- •3. Anal malignancies
- •4. Cases with anal injuries like 4th degree perineal tear during vaginal delivery
- •5. Hemorrhoids
- •6. Patients who have undergone previous perianal surgeries
