简要总结
Retrograde intrarenal surgery is widely used for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones. Traditionally, ureteral stents are placed postoperatively to prevent complications such as pain and stone obstruction. On the other hand, it leads to patient discomfort and additional procedures or readmission .This study aims to evaluate whether routine postoperative DJ stenting can be safely omitted following RIRS in appropriately selected patients, without increasing postoperative complications or the need for additional interventions.

入选标准
- •All patients above the age of 18 years of either sex who presented to the Urology clinic in our university hospitals with upper urinary tract stones with size up to 2.5 cm.
排除标准
- •Previous open renal surgery
- •patients with previous renal trauma
- •Patients with renal anomalies
- •Patients with untreated or active Urinary tract infection
- •patients with Solitary kidney
- •patients with renal insufficiency
