- •Diagnosis of sepsis less than forty-eight hours after diagnosis

- •Acute heart failure
- •bradycardia (heart rate below 70 beats per minute)
- •heart shock
- •hypotension (systolic pressure below 90 mm Hg)
- •pulmonary edema
- •sick sinus syndrome
- •ventricular dysfunction
- •acute bronchospasm
