- •ASA physical status i-iii
- •-BMI < 30
- •-Candidates posted for abdominal surgeries and surgical duration expected to exceed beyond 2 hours
排除标准
- •-Mechanical ventilation of > 1 hour within the last 2 weeks before surgery
- •-Body mass index ââ?°Â¥ 35 kg/m2
- •-Acute respiratory failure (pneumonia, acute lung injury or acute respiratory distress syndrome)
- •-Laparoscopic surgery
- •-Sepsis or septic shock
- •-Progressive neuromuscular illness
- •-Intra-thoracic surgery
- •-Pregnancy
- •-Orbital tumors
- •-Optic neuritis
- •-Refusal to participate
