简要总结

This is a study to assess the occurrence of acute kidney injury among patients admitted in critical care units as well as to identify the determinants and outcomes of the disease. The determinants of the disease will be the primary diagnosis with which the patients gets admitted to the critical care unit. The outcomes are mortality, resolution of creatinine, dialysis dependancy of the patient. All the patients admitted to critical care units, whose stay in the ICU is more than 48 hours will be taken up for the study. These patients will be followed up for 10 days and the final outcome will be assessed on the day 10.  Among these patients, the total number of patients who developed AKI will be reported along with other details such as the most common cause and treatment that was provided to the patient.

  • Patients/ Legally Accepted Representative who gives the consent to participate in the study.

排除标准

  • Patients with underlying chronic kidney disease undergoing regular dialysis Patients whose ICU stay is less than 48 hours Pregnant women.
