入排标准
入选标准
- •1.All patients (age18-65 yrs)of either gender giving consent for the study. 2.Patients of ASA grading I &II.
排除标准
- •1.Non consenting patients. 2.Allergic to dexmedetomidine or clonidine. 3.Current upper respiratory tract infections, per existing sore throat and/or hoarseness. 4.Patients using steroids or NSAIDS. 5.Patients with COPD, asthma. 6.Pregnant patients. 7.Any history of difficult intubation, loose teeth. 8.Difficult intubation requiring more than one attempt. 9.Already intubated patients. 10. Patients not extubated at the end of surgery. 11.Patients with sinus bradycardia, atrioventricular block, cardiac disease.
