入排标准
入选标准
- •1.Both males and females between 16-55 years of age.
- •2.Patients having lateral elbow pain and also having tenderness over the lateral aspect of elbow and patients having Cozens/Mills test.
- •Southampton Diagnostic Criteria will be used for the diagnosis of lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow in these patients (Desouza etal. 2019).
- •These criteria are defined as:
- •1)Pain in the lateral epicondyle zone in resistant active extension of the wrist.
- •2)Pain in the lateral epicondyle zone for 24 hours or more in the last 7 days.
- •3)Sensitivity on the lateral epicondyle zone.
排除标准
- •1.Generalized inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis.
- •2.Concurrent shoulder and/or neck pain and its related referred pain or pain proximal to the elbow on the affected side.
- •3.Any wound or skin lesion on the lateral side of the affected elbow.
- •4.Neurological symptoms or abnormal neurological findings in the affected arm.
- •5.Pregnancy
- •6.Severe infection
- •7.Known malignancy
- •8.Bleeding disorder
- •9.Previous surgery to the elbow
- •10.Oral and/or topical NSAID in the previous 2 weeks
- •11.Local corticosteroid injection in the previous month.
- •12.Oral glucocorticosteroids within the previous 6 weeks,
- •13.Subjects not willing to participate in the study.
