- •at least three months of symptoms duration
- •inadequate response to conservative measures

- •patients with massive rotator cuff tears
- •irreparable tears
- •frozen shoulder
- •inflammatory or rheumatologic diseases
- •glenohumeral osteoarthritis
- •previous shoulder surgery
