The government of India has launched Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission to advance healthcare digitalization and build an open, interoperable digital health ecosystem for the nation. ABDM will also create a unique digital health ID for every for every citizen of India. This ID will enable the seamless integration of various healthcare services and will also help in creating a longitudinal health record for every citizen in India. The successful implementation of ABDM in India will have a robust digital health ecosystem that will integrate various healthcare systems. By analyzing the students knowledge of ABDM can provide a valuable insight into the effectiveness of communication and awareness campaigns targeted at this demographic location. Understanding how post graduate students from different educational background perceive technology driven healthcare initiatives like ABDM can guide the government in adopting innovative approaches. It can help to address the gaps in misunderstanding and area of confusion and might lead to increased participation, better utilization of healthcare services and more successful implementation. In summary, the literature review highlights the transformative potential of digital health initiatives across different regions and underscores the importance of addressing challenges such as stakeholder engagement, public awareness, infrastructure constraints, and health disparities. It calls for continued research and collaborative efforts to harness the full benefits of digital technology in healthcare while ensuring equitable access and outcomes for all.
