•1.Females after menopause upto 70 years
•2.Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria according to the American College of Rheumatology Criteria
•3.Patients having Radiologic changes of the knee in the images by the X-ray [Kellgren-Lawrence Index for Radiological Findings upto grade III]
•4.Patients with controlled Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension
•5.Patients willing to join the study and sign the informed consent form.
•6.Patients having the lakshana of Sandhigatavata as per the classic will be selected for the study.

•1.Patients under HRT
•2.Patients under NSAID-s for more than 6 months
•3.Patients having auto-immune related joint disorders like Multiple sclerosis, RA, Polymyalgia rheumatica
•4.Severe deformities secondary to any other complaints like Rheumatoid arthritis,gout ,etc
•5.Other systemic illness like Hypothyroidism,Metabolic syndrome, Ulcerative colitis etc
•6.H/o Any trauma or fracture to the joints in the previous 6 months
•7.Carcinoma
