This thesis aims to determine the effect of Hf- rTMS on craving in patients with AUD and seeks to contribute to the development of more effective treatment strategy for reducing craving and establish long term efficacy in patient with Alcohol use disorder.
It Will Be A Double-Blind Randomized Controlled Trial In Recently Detoxified Patients With Alcohol Use Disorder,
Ten sessions Of Hf-Rtms (high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) Over The Right Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex Will Be Done And Comparison between
Active Hf-rTMS receiving group And Sham rTMS receiving group will be done and Outcome Measures Of Alcohol Craving Over a Follow-Up Period Of 4 And 8 Weeks Using Validated Assessment Tool Like Alcohol Craving Questionnaire And Obsessive Compulsive Drinking Scale will be done to assess change in alcohol craving.

入选标准
- •1.Patients Who Give Written Informed Consent.
- •2.Age Group Of 18-65 Years.
- •3.Patients Diagnosed As Having Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) According To DSM-5TR.
- •4.Participants Should Be Medically Stable.
- •5.All AUD Patients Must Have Undergone At Least 7 To 10 Days Of Detoxification With Fixed Dose Reduction Regimen.
排除标准
- •1.Patients Of Epilepsy .
- •2.Any Metal Implant Or Magnetic Sensitive Implants In Or Near The Head Including Cochlear Implant, Aneurysm Clip, Metal Plates, Stents And Cardiac Pacemaker.
- •3.Patient Currently On Any Anti Craving Medication 4.Pregnant Or Lactating Female.
- •5.Recent Any Head Surgery.
- •6.Severe Or Acute Any Dermatological Condition On The Scalp Where rTMS Coil To Be Placed.
