Beyond Air (搜索) has significantly expanded the global footprint of its LungFit PH (搜索) nitric oxide delivery system, signing new international distribution agreements that bring total coverage to 39 countries representing more than three billion people. The commercial-stage medical device company announced the addition of key markets including Germany, Brazil, Austria, the Netherlands, and Sri Lanka to its distribution network.

Revolutionary Nitric Oxide Technology
LungFit PH (搜索) represents a breakthrough in nitric oxide delivery technology, generating nitric oxide from ambient air and eliminating the need for traditional high-pressure cylinders. This tankless approach streamlines hospital operations, enhances efficiency, and reduces environmental impact within hospital settings. The FDA-approved and CE Mark-certified system is currently indicated for the treatment of term and near-term neonates with hypoxic respiratory failure (搜索).
The LungFit system can generate nitric oxide from ambient air on demand for delivery to the lungs at concentrations ranging from 1 ppm to 80 ppm. The technology could potentially replace large, high-pressure NO cylinders, providing significant advantages in hospital settings including greatly reducing inventory and storage requirements, improving overall safety by eliminating NO2 purging steps, and offering other operational benefits.
Leadership Strengthening
In a strategic move to support its commercial expansion, Beyond Air (搜索) appointed Dan Moorhead as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 5, 2026. Moorhead brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across both public and private companies, most recently serving as CFO of Zynex (搜索), Inc., a publicly traded commercial-stage medical device company, from June 2017 to August 2025.
"He brings a strong track record of guiding companies through significant growth and developing high-performing finance organizations that can support commercial scale," Lisi noted. Expanding Clinical Applications
Beyond Air (搜索) is currently advancing other LungFit systems in clinical trials for treating severe lung infections, including viral community-acquired pneumonia (COVID-19 (搜索)) and nontuberculous mycobacteria (搜索) (NTM). The company's LungFit technology can deliver NO at concentrations at or above 80 ppm for potentially treating severe acute lung infections in hospital settings and chronic, refractory lung infections in home settings.
The company has also established partnerships to explore additional therapeutic applications, including a collaboration with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (搜索) to advance a pre-clinical program for autism spectrum disorder (搜索) and other neurological disorders. Additionally, Beyond Cancer (搜索), Ltd., an affiliate of Beyond Air (搜索), is investigating ultra-high concentrations of NO with a proprietary delivery system to target certain solid tumors (搜索) in pre-clinical settings.
Market Expansion Timeline
While regulatory approvals in some countries will take time, Lisi indicated that several markets will begin benefiting from LungFit PH (搜索)'s unique features in calendar 2026. The company aims to bring the benefits of LungFit PH to the majority of the world's hospitals over the next several years, leveraging its expanded distribution network that now covers key global markets.
