Track Record of Successful Product Launches
Prior to joining the Edgewise Board, Martin served as Chief Commercial Officer for Verona Pharma, which was acquired by Merck & Co. (搜索) for approximately $10 billion in October 2025. As CCO, Martin was responsible for building the commercial organization and launch strategy for the company's first product launch, Ohtuvayre (搜索) (ensifentrine).
Martin's commercial leadership extends across multiple successful product launches. He served as Executive Director of Marketing at SK Life Science (搜索), where he was instrumental in developing the commercial and marketing strategy for launching XCOPRI (cenobamate tablets), the company's first commercial product focused on central nervous system conditions.
At Cempra (搜索), Martin served as Head of Marketing and led the development and launch strategy for solithromycin, the company's first product, until its acquisition by Melinta Therapeutics (搜索). His decade-long tenure at Salix Pharmaceuticals included leading the Xifaxan marketing team during the company's acquisition by Valeant Pharmaceuticals.
Pipeline Targeting Muscle Disease Spectrum
Edgewise Therapeutics is developing a portfolio of novel therapeutics for muscular dystrophies (搜索) and serious cardiac conditions, leveraging deep expertise in muscle physiology.
