The product features a patented bi-layer tablet that combines three active ingredients—guaifenesin (an expectorant), dextromethorphan HBr (a cough suppressant), and naproxen sodium (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for fever and pain). The bilayer design enables both immediate and extended release of the active ingredients, providing symptom relief that lasts up to three times longer than most cold and flu medications, based on comparison to a single dose of a 4-hour medicine without re-dosing.
