Fujian Haixi Pharmaceutical Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Haixi New Pharmaceutical”) was established in Fuzhou in March 2012 with strong support from the Fujian and Fuzhou governments and related departments. Haixi New Pharmaceutical is a pharmaceutical enterprise with a drug marketing license Hold (MAH) as the core structure, which runs through the entire upstream and downstream industry chain of R&D, clinical research, production and sales industries. In a 13-year journey, Haixi New Pharmaceutical has embarked on an unusual development path — a dual-line layout of generic drugs and innovative drugs, adhering to the development concept of “generics help innovation, innovation drives the future”. In terms of generic drugs, the focus is on research and development of first generic drugs, difficult drugs, and high generic drugs, and making full use of national pharmaceutical policy dividends, such as the MAH system, generic drug consistency evaluation, and national drug collection, etc., to achieve remarkable results: as of December 27, 2024, 14 drugs have been approved for marketing and sale by the State Drug Administration. Among them, mosapride citrate tablets (ambidol), cinacalcet hydrochloride tablets (riantal), amlodipine atorvastatin calcium tablets (Haihuitong), and hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets (cicifol) successfully won bids in the fourth, fifth, eighth, and tenth batches of the country's drug collection, respectively, covering the markets of 10, 7, 9 and 6 provinces, respectively. The results of these generic drugs have not only achieved the steady development of the company, but also provided impetus for research and development of innovative drugs. In terms of innovative drugs, it is guided by clinical value and focuses on developing small-molecule innovative drugs with global market potential and clear clinical needs. Among them, the lead project C019199 is undergoing phase I/II clinical research, and the development of innovative drugs has entered a new stage. Haixi New Pharmaceutical's core R&D team is led by Dr. Kang Xinshan, a high-level national overseas entrepreneur, and has brought together a group of PhDs and masters, including high-level national and provincial overseas entrepreneurs and “Double Hundred Plan” talents. The company actively carries out school-enterprise cooperation and is an internship base for many universities such as Fuzhou University, Fujian Medical University, and Minjiang University. At the same time, it also closely cooperates with universities such as Peking University and Xiamen University to carry out scientific research activities. As of December 27, 2024, more than 30 invention patents have been granted. Over the past 13 years, due to its efforts in the pharmaceutical field, Haixi New Pharmaceutical has won many honors, including a national high-tech enterprise, a national specialty and new “little giant” enterprise, the first batch of new provincial R&D institutions in Fujian Province, Fujian science and technology enterprises, Fujian Province and Fuzhou key listing backup enterprises, the first enterprise in Fujian Province to obtain a “Pharmaceutical Production License” (B certificate), and Fuzhou Enterprise Technology Center.
