简要总结
This study, titled “Effect of Core Stability Training and Balance Plyometric Training on Agility, Dynamic Balance, and Sports-Specific Skills in Indian Pickleball Athletes,” aims to find out how two different training methods—core stability exercises and balance-plyometric exercises—improve the performance of young Indian pickleball players. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports because it is easy to learn, low impact, and suitable for all ages, but competitive play requires excellent agility, strong balance, and accurate skills. Core stability helps players stay steady during quick movements, while balance-plyometric training improves power, quick reactions, and body control. In this randomized clinical trial, 30 athletes aged 18–30 will be divided into two groups: one receiving core stability training and the other receiving balance-plyometric training. Players must have at least six months of playing experience and adequate core strength, while anyone with recent injuries or surgeries will be excluded. Agility, dynamic balance, and pickleball-specific skills will be measured at the start and after six weeks using the T-test, Modified Y-Balance Test, and Pickleball Skill Assessment. The study expects to see improvements in both groups, and the hypotheses test whether each training method works and whether one is better than the other. Data will be analyzed using statistical tests based on whether the results follow a normal distribution, using software like SPSS. Overall, the study will help coaches, trainers, and physiotherapists understand which type of training best enhances pickleball performance.
