Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Parenting skills: EFB-K (Parenting Scale, short form), original version by Arnold, Leary, Wolff, and Acker (1993), German short version by Miller (2001). Our own Arabic translation based on the German short version. A three-item version of the scale with adjusted wording for the daily assessment in the EMA study will be used. The reliability and validity of the translated EMA version have been tested in a previous pilot study. Items are rated on a seven-point bipolar scale (labels: 3-2-1-0-1-2-3). The endpoints describe either effective or ineffective forms of specific parental behavior. The scale labels will be transformed to values from 1 to 7, where higher values indicate more unfavorable parental behavior.

All endpoints will be recorded pre (T0) and post (T1) and at 6- (T2) and 12-month follow-up (T3).
